Happy Thanksgiving

I hope that everyone is as stuffed as I am this Thanksgiving day. If not, I recommend crashing someone's dinner and scoring some turkey.

This year, my family did the whole traditional/classic Thanksgiving dinner. We had roast turkey, cornbread stuffing, yams, beets, cranberry sauce, green beans, mash potatoes and gravy. I wish I had the foresight to take a picture of the whole thing. It was truly a beautiful sight.

I'm at Books-A-Million right now trying to keep from dying of boredom. I'm using the free wi-fi that you get if you join their Millionaire's Club to surf the web for a bit and post this blog. Also, I really wanted to check on online order for a Sony Mylo COM-2 that placed yesterday at the Sony web site. It didn't look like it shipped out yesterday, so I'm hoping it goes out tomorrow or Monday.

Well, I think that's all I have for everyone. I'll post again soon.

Walkway to Eternity

A while back, I went out on the Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier at night. I decided to take a picture using my phone and see how bad or good it would turn out.

The fishing pier is very eerie at night. Being one of the longest fishing piers on the Gulf of Mexico (1471 feet long), you normally can't see antything into the darkness of the ocean. All you can hear are the waves crashing on pier.

When you reach the middle part of the pier, you can't see where the pier starts or ends in either direction. It's sometimes quite disorienting. I always feel like I'm on some walkway to eternity whenever I reach this point.

Igniting the Fires of Chaos

After watching RunAwayBox's "The Great Office War", I was inspired to initiate a covert game of Nerf Office Tag.

We haven't finalized the rules, but I have taken the liberty of issuing everyone their weapons. Toys-R-Us's Exclusive Nerf N-Strike Attack Unit/6-pack was perfect for this occassion.

Live the Moment and then Post!

I thought about posting at the exact moment last night when I heard that Obama had enough electoral votes to win the election. Then I realized that I would actually be missing out on such a great moment in history if I spent it twiddling away on my phone or computer trying to post online.

Sometimes, you just have to put down the keyboard and experience life! You can always post about it later.

As for me, the Obama's election brings about much hope to this usually apathetic and pessimistic monkey. It shows that America is socially progressing and that the voice of the people can still be heard in a nation where its government officials were getting more and more disconnected from its people.

The Great Office War

I wish this would happen at my work place. Too bad they have no sense of humor or fun.
